Note on Google Maps: Maps on Google Maps are partly wrong, if necessary follow the obvious way on the map. Sometimes you have to switch to the Satellite View to see a route that Google does not know. For example, in Pissouri, Google displays the road from the bay to the village, but does not use that road in planning a route.

The very good tavern in traditional style offers excellent Cypriot dishes at a fair price and in an excellent ambiance right in the village square of Pissouri. In addition to the usual meaty grill dishes, a good selection for vegetarian dishes are offered. The service is first class.
Special recommendation: On the Bouzouki Nights every Wednesday from April to October, a very good Meze is served with pleasant bouzouki sounds, optionally also in a vegetarian version. The Bouzouki Nights are very popular, so an early table reservation is strongly recommended. Bouzouki Nights

The very good tavern in the centre of Pissouri is characterized by a very cosy sheltered garden, where you can enjoy the excellent quality of the Cypriot dishes in tranquillity. The prices are for Pissouri slightly raised, but absolutely adequate, the service first class.
Special recommendation: Very good steak dishes, with optional garlic potatoes instead of the otherwise ubiquitous French fries, crowning the Black Angus Ribeye on the bone.

This excellent tavern in the Pissouri Bay is characterized by a perfect beach location, here you can enjoy the perfectly prepared Cypriot dishes with dreamlike sea view to the sound of the waves. The prices are for Pissouri raised, but absolutely adequate for the quality served, the service is personal, friendly and overall excellent.
Special recommendation: very good fish dishes.

In this very pleasant tavern in the centre of Paramali, the owner is looking heartily and personally after his guests. On offer are excellent grills, from the simple low-priced mixed kebab in pita to the excellent rib-eye steak. The simple but functional tables and chairs are arranged around a centuries-old olive tree. Excellent value for money, warm service and a quiet location make this tavern a recommended destination.

In the very pleasant little tavern in the centre of Prastio, the owners take care of their guests warmly and personally. On offer are excellent grills, from the simple low-priced Mixed Kebab in Pita to the Meat Meze. The terrace offers a breathtaking view over the hills and the sea. An excellent value-for-money ratio, familiarly service and a quiet location with a fantastic view make this tavern a recommended destination.

Via the B6 coastal road and a narrow paved access road you reach this picturesque quiet beach next to a Cypriot tavern. A few sun beds and umbrellas are offered for rent. Following the beach to the east you will reach a simple beach snack, in this area kite surfers are often to be see and their perfomance is to be admired.

Via the B6 coastal road and a narrow, partially paved access road between tangerine plantations lead you to this secluded, picturesque and tranquil beach that stretches for almost 2 km along the bay. The beach is unmanaged, at times a snack bar offers snacks and drinks. Occasionally individual kite surfers can be found in this western area. If you follow the beach to the east you will reach lonely sections and behind a cliff another small lonely calm bay.

Via the B6 coastal road you reach this picturesque beach after a short bike ride with picturesque views of the bay with the offshore rocks. The first section of the beach is often besieged by tourist groups, but after the famous rock "Petra tou Romiou" you continue to the right to find a pleasantly empty beautiful pebble beach. The beach is unmanaged.

Via the B6 coastal road and a paved access road you reach this picturesque beach below the archaeological site of Kourion. The beach is managed and there are three tourist taverns. The beach is well frequented in the season and is approached even by tourist buses, however with its size of almost 2 km one can still find a good spot. Particularly interesting is the way through the largely unspoilt landscape of the British base area of Episkopi and a combination with the visit to the archaeological site of the Ancient Kourion. Just before you reach the beach there are fresh strawberries offered directly from the farm.

Via the B6 coast road, past the picturesque cliffs of Petra tou Romiou, you will reach a small picnic area with sanitary facilities and covered benches for a leisurely picnic. A footpath leads down to a small secluded beach.

You can reach the village of Alektora on a country road with little traffic between vineyards and citrus orchards. From the village, follow the signpost "Picnic Site" leading via an unpaved road (which Google Maps does not know) through farmland to a hidden picnic area with sanitary facilities, covered benches and barbecue areas.
